We have added a more comprehensive series of tests with elemental analysis for elements in mineral samples using X-ray and emission spectrometers, a standard crucible fire assay for Au., Ag., plus separate fire assays for Platinum Group Elements for low grade minerals and X-ray Spectrometer finish for high grade. Pressed powder process for base metal elements in geological materials - soils, rocks, drill core, pan concentrates, quarry stone. X-Ray Spectrometry can report high grade ores. X-ray Spectrometer has proven exceptionally effective for difficult, acid insoluble minerals.
We combine several analytical methods for detecting difficult particle alloys of PGM values in each mineral sample:
X-Ray Spectrometer of raw mineral to detect higher values of Platinum Group, then a standard 29.17 Gm. fire assay for Au/Ag values above .001 troy oz/ton; plus a 29.17 Gram (1AT) Bi. alloy fire assay for PGM group, finish by XRF method to detect traces of Platinum Group in minerals.
Base metals reporting range: 1 ppm to 90%; semiquant. below 1 ppm. (except F. 0.1%).
Precious metals reporting range: .001 troy oz. per ton and up to 50% for Au/Ag and from 0.001 troy oz. per ton to 5% for Pt. group.
Some light *elements separately determined by Arc Emission Spectrometer. Not for gems, meteorites, man-made objects, or other items of intrinsic value. Processing time varies from 2 to 3 weeks. Minimum sample required: 1 Lb. of dry mineral. Add $100.00 for 58.34 gram (2 AT) fire assay. (Analysis of dore bar, cast metal, chemical precipitate, chemical residues, request quote.)

REPORT DELIVERY OPTIONS:
SAMPLE STORAGE:
Clients typically submit only a portion of sample for testing and retain the remaining sample material for reference or future testing. Sample pulp storage: 6 weeks. Rejects and excess material may be discarded during sample preparation. Samples received without instructions or payment are stored for 6 weeks. Mineral pulp (powder) may absorb atmospheric moisture, changing weight ratios of elements to matrix or initiate chemical reaction in pulp which makes prolonged storage of pulp inadvisable.
SAMPLE PULP RETURN:
Pulp return is not available. Before sending samples, retain a portion of each sample as a reference or library sample. Mineral pulps may absorb atmospheric moisture over time.
